Member Tim Yoho's 1958 Triumph TR3A

The purchase of this car is a good example of the expression Caveat Emptor or "Buyer Beware". The seller indicated the car needed only "cosmetic" work but when the car was stripped the truth was revealed. It was a basket case and just about every part was replaced or rebuilt. The restoration took place over a 7 year period. The car is registered as a 1958, but factory documentation shows it was built in 1957.

The car is now show quality, has won many awards, and is an excellent example of what can be done with patience, very little good metal, a body banger artist, and much money......
